IRRIGATED AND SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE FOR TRANSFORMATION PROJECT

The Ministry of Agriculture, with support from the World Bank, is preparing the Irrigated and Sustainable Agriculture for Transformation (ISAT) Project, an initiative aimed at promoting irrigated and sustainable agriculture practices, strengthening market linkages, enhancing agricultural knowledge systems, and improving institutional capacity across Zambia. The project is expected to contribute to increased agricultural productivity, climate resilience, food security, and improved livelihoods for farmers.

The Stakeholder Engagement Plan (SEP) for the Irrigated and Sustainable Agriculture for Transformation (ISAT) Project has been published. Developed as part of the project’s preparation process, the SEP provides a framework for effective stakeholder consultation, information disclosure, and participation throughout the project lifecycle. Stakeholders are encouraged to review the document and provide feedback to support a transparent, inclusive, and responsive project implementation process.
